Tried last year but no availability. Luckily got two cottages this year to suit our party perfectly (inc. Jean & Edwin in Pheasants Hide). We've had a wonderful time and found the accommodation environment, views and fishing all excellent. Richard & Catherine have been friendly & helpful from booking to leaving. “ Newbarn Farm - a gem in the countryside of Devon. We were welcomed with smiles after long tedious journey and we fell in love with Poachers Cottage and immediately felt as home. Little things mean a lot, i.e. the fresh flowers, tea and coffee for those who come unprepared. Waking up in the morning with sun streaming in through the window, the beautiful views, birds singing have made this a lovely relaxing holiday for us both. Just getting more laid back by the day.
