Set high on a hillside above the popular holiday town of Paignton, Newbarn Farm is a little oasis of tranquillity.  Visitors often remark how surprising it is to find such peace and quiet within striking distance of the hustle and bustle of Torbay.  On arrival you’ll come up our winding private drive, passing some of our lakes, and take in some of the vistas that make Newbarn Farm so special.

The farm and Angling centre are run by Richard and Catherine, who have been responsible for the stylish renovations in the cottages, and are currently planning to expand the farm’s range of facilities in the near future.  'Our extensive cottage refurbishment programme is now complete, the last of the paint brushes and fabric swatches were laid to rest after the finishing touches were applied to Lambs Gate early April, 2008.

The couple live in the main farmhouse, managing a team of domestic and angling staff, and acting as point of contact for all your holiday requirements.  “It’s a wonderful place to live,” says Catherine, “although we always wish we had more time to enjoy it!”  Richard, Catherine and their two young children have lived in Devon for years, so there’s nobody better to ask about your holiday plans.
